Old hurts, new betrayals, and a love that survives them all...
Summer 1885
A startling revelation sends Elizabeth Lawson escaping into a stormy night—and tosses her into the arms of a young mountain man with secrets of his own. When he offers to take her to the Nevada mining town where her long-lost brother lives, she accepts. Suspicions and uncertainties are pushed aside as she struggles to forge a future for herself by meeting her past.
David has been hiding from his painful memories for years. The solitude and wildness of the Rocky Mountains are challenge and comfort enough for him—until Elizabeth's arrival. Fueled by anger and a sense of obligation, he strives to take control of his new situation...only to find control slipping from his grasp with each new emotion Elizabeth evokes in him.
When their journey leads them on unexpected paths, can two lonely hearts find the strength to remember the good amid the heartbreak?

Prequel to Bleeding Heart
Now this is the kind of thing that makes one proud of her book buddy :D Wonderful job, Amber! You're living your dream fully and I find that very inspiring. I know I've cheered you before but I'm cheering you again!!! Doing GREAT! Keep it up! And that synopsis... oooh! Way to pique a reader's curiosity. ;)
ReplyDeleteAww, that's so sweet, Ganise! :D I really appreciate your encouragement - and your taking the time to keep sharing it with me! *Hugs*
DeleteI'm so glad the synopsis for Forget Me Not intrigues you. :) I'm looking forward to making some changes and polishing the story during the editing phase... Despite it being a prequel where those who have read Bleeding Heart will know some of the outcomes, I hope the book still offers some surprises and a worthwhile journey. :)

I just discovered your books today through an email from another blogger. Your covers alone are gorgeous! It looks as if the content between the covers is also brilliant. Do you have a follower link? I'd love to be able to follow your blog and any updates regarding your books and activities.

I'm so happy to meet you, Nancee! And thank you very much for the kind words! :)
DeleteI haven't added follower gadgets to this blog and my Bleeding Heart blog, mainly because I don't ever add new posts, so followers wouldn't get notified when I updated anything... However, I'd love to invite you to follow my personal blog, Seasons of Humility! While I post book reviews and host blog tours (etc.) for my freelance publicity business there, I do also share when I have news about my books (when they're available to purchase, when the paperback releases, when the blog tour's happening, etc.). I basically treat my books' "blogs" as websites that remain static, but are open for comments and are updated from time to time with new links and pages. :)
Thank you for your interest in my stories!

Our prayers continue to be with you and your family...
